Youth Initiative for Health and Community Empowerment (YIHCOE) is a community-based, not-for-profit, registered organization. It was established in 2016 to advocate for the health, social-oriented human rights of key populations. We operate within the Greater Masaka region to increase accessibility to service delivery through raisingawareness, sharing information, trainings, innovations, timely intervention, and partnerships aimed at addressing the social conditions that hinder the well-being of key populations.

We are a beacon of hope for the transgender community, offering vital support, advocacy, and resources. We’ve empowered several individuals with healthcare, legal aid, and education. Our work has led to increased visibility, acceptance, and policy changes, reducing stigma and enhancing lives.
